On Oct 1, 2010, at the Atlanta Marriott Downtown, People You Need to Know Magazine hosted their first Business Superstars Awards Breakfast. Staples, Inc. was the Sponsor of the individual awards and Credit Union of Atlanta was the Presenting Sponsor of this exciting and well-attended event.
The Centennial Ballroom was buzzing with Atlanta’s best and brightest women business owners and professionals. The attendees were there to encourage, support, and celebrate the triumphs of WOMEN who make things happen in metro Atlanta.
Many of the early morning guests were mesmerized by the sheer elegance of the super-sized room for this occasion. The positive energy was palpable and there was a feeling that something great would soon take place.
A decorative sofa with pillows was inside the red and white custom-made People You Need to Know tent, which drew many of the attendees to the back of the ballroom for a closer look. They took turns getting their pictures taken in front of the tent ensuring that this special moment would last for a lifetime.
The round tables with seating for eight were lavishly decorated with a white tablecloth and accented with a gold chiffon overlay. The chairs were also covered in white with a matching gold chiffon ribbon tied with a perfect bow in the back of the chair. To top things off, each table had a bowl of fresh flowers that added an elegant touch and infused extra brightness within the entire space. Hotel management said they hadn’t seen the Centennial Ballroom looking so radiant in a very long time.

@RE-POD313 TechTips - This WAS definitely a dynamic event. The energy was high and the ladies were very appreciative of the fact that their achievements, gifts and talents were being recognized. Not only that, if I could speak for the entire audience, I wouldn't hesitate to say that they were just as proud. In this moment in history, we need more positive energy circulating throughout the land.
