Rita began her long-term career in operations and training as a partner of Supermarkets, Inc. She hails from Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica, WI, and was educated at Rosary Academy and Syracuse University. From there, she worked for the Federal Government in Rome, NY, and in Madrid, Spain.

Upon returning to the U.S., Rita began a 25-year career with Burger King Corporation, where she advanced through the positions of:

Assistant Manager
Restaurant Manager
Multi-Unit Manager
Restaurant Training Manager
Operations Excellence Manager
Operations Excellence Specialist

Rita was recognized for her ability to lead and train teams to achieve exceptional results. During her tenure with Burger King Corporation, she was able to improve the operations of several units and develop leaders.

After her career with Burger King Corporation, Rita decided to rekindle her passion for being an entrepreneur and founded Distinctive Ops Services, (http://www.distinctiveops.com/) a business consulting company specializing in operations consultation, seminars, classroom workshops, training development and implementation.
