Power Spotlight: Dawn Causey


Gifted in the areas of Technology and Performing Arts, Dawn uses her God-given gifts to give back to her community. Dawn is also the author of a children’s book entitled, “Uncle Booker’s Quilt”. Her soul purpose is to invest in people and enhance the well-being of others.

Dawn Loney Causey was born in California and has traveled extensively around the world as her father served in the Armed Forces. She is a CRM Administrator with MEDSEEK, Founder/Executive Director of Anointed 2 Dance International Ministries, Inc., President of Anderson Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and is an Executive Marketing Director for Soul Purpose. Dawn founded a youth program called “Danciquette” which combines dance technique and etiquette for children ages 3-12. Children are able to learn the importance of self-esteem, body movement and self-image. She has also facilitated conferences and workshops on dance ministry, health and wellness and has taught for the Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc.  Her many gifts and roles have equipped her to educate, encourage and empower others to utilize their unique God-given gifts to make a difference.

Dawn received her undergraduate degree from South Carolina State University and has a Master’s in Public Administration from Troy State University. She is also a certified Salesforce Administrator. Dawn currently resides in Ellenwood, Georgia, with her husband, Milton and has twin children, Marsalis and Nubia.

The Essence Of A Woman will be held at the Morrow Center (Southlake Mall), Morrow, Georgia. Their mission is to increase awareness of all forms of healthcare and healthy living opportunities that are available to area residents. This conference will be FREE and open to the public. Part of the proceeds for this event will be donated to Anderson Elementary school PTA for health and wellness initiatives within their school and community.
