Meet Nicole Steele at the Business Superstars’ Awards Breakfast

Join us as we honor Nicole Steele on October 5, 2012 at the Superstars’ Awards Breakfast for her commitment to inspire and empower young girls.

Visionary, trainer, facilitator, speaker, writer and youth advocate, Nicole Steele is the founder and Executive Director of Diamond In The Rough Youth Development Program, Inc., an award winning, faith based, non-profit mentoring and leadership program which serves girls ages 4-18 years old in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia.

A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a graduate of Alabama A&M University where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Steele understands first-hand the power that mentors and role models can make in the lives of young girls. Through her personal testimony, over 15 years of corporate experience and 20 years of working with youth and young adults in various capacities, Steele has committed her life to empowering girls around the world emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, physically and financially.

Steele desires to further the mission of Diamond In The Rough by equipping youth workers, parents, volunteers and program staff with the tools and resources to meet the ever-changing needs of youth and young adults. She has published works in various magazines and newspapers and has made numerous appearances on local television and radio programs.

By sharing her insight through business consulting, workshops, training and resources, Steele seeks to also empower, encourage and equip adults who are committed to reaching the youth by helping them develop into productive leaders of the next generation. She is convinced that together we can truly transform the world … one child, one family, one community at a time.
