Annual Wine Tasting Affair-“Wine Sip”
Portions of Proceeds benefitting The Legacy Program, a girls’ Leadership Academy

DEKALB COUNTY, GA – The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW) Decatur/DeKalb Chapter invites you to the chapter’s Annual Wine Tasting Affair. The Annual Fundraising Wine Tasting Affair will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012, from 7 P.M. to 11 P.M. in Lithonia, GA at The Rose Garden Mansion (7316 Covington Highway, Lithonia, GA). Cost of tickets for the event is $35 per person. Event admission is by ticket only.

This year, guests will be entertained and experience spoken word, art by music, and an eclectic wine selection. A sommelier will host the wine tasting to educate individuals on the evening’s wine selections. Food and desserts will also be served as well as a silent auction will be held.

Portions of the event’s proceeds will benefit NCBW Decatur/DeKalb’s chapter signature mentoring and scholarship program, The Legacy Program.

The program is designed to establish an enhanced sense of self-esteem and personal motivation among young African-American women that will inspire them to develop the necessary skills needed to assume a wide range of leadership roles in areas such as politics, civic affairs, business, entrepreneurship, education, health and medicine, religion, and international affairs.
