Meet Margarita Ayes at Business Superstars’ Awards Breakfast

Margarita Ayes is a native of Puerto Rico. She completed major studies in marketing at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. Highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, creative and social are some of the qualities that best describe this successful businesswoman.

Ms. Ayes is currently a co-founder of Hispanic Marketing Group, Inc., which is dedicated to linking corporate America and the Hispanic Community. She is also a co-founder of the popular and well-attended Festival Peachtree Latino. It is the largest multicultural event in the Southeast, which features hundreds of exhibitions, family activities, sporting events, parades, arts & crafts, exotic foods and outdoor musical performances, showcasing renowned international musicians on two stages, located in Underground Atlanta.

In addition, she is the co-founder of the Stone Mountain Latino Fair, Mis Fiestas Patrias and the Hispanic Leadership Awards. These events attract more than 160,000 attendees.

Since 2002, Ms. Ayes has earned the following awards:

2002-2007 Atlanta City Council — for outstanding service as Chairman of Festival Peachtree Latino

2003 Outstanding Businesswoman in the Community – Atlanta, Georgia

2008 Outstanding Performance Award — by the President of the Atlanta City Council and the entire nine (9) City Councils
