Let’s Help Kids Live Healthy & Thrive ~ 5K Walk on April 23, 2011
You’re invited to participate in a 5K Walk Saturday, April 23rd at Stone Mountain Park, Georgia.

Proceeds will benefit Live Healthy & Thrive Youth Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization dedicated to fostering and promoting kid’s health. This Foundation provides scholarships to youth who want to major in health-care/medicine/culinary arts … as well as free workshops to kids ages 6-12 to teach them about 3 key subjects: FOOD/nutrition (how & why to cook/eat healthy food), FITNESS (how & why to exercise & stay fit) and proper HEALTH-CARE (why it’s important in childhood). The walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. sharp on 4/23. Participants who walk, are not required to raise funds to participate, but are requested to raise a minimum of $25 in donations. The participant who raises the most in donations will receive a gift basket valued at over $300.00, including a family 4-pack of Atlanta Braves tickets and souvenir hats.
Stone Mountain Park has many activities. Bring the family or a group of friends and have a picnic or BBQ in the park after the walk!
