“Because the economy is the way it is, everyone is on a budget,” says Shenea Winston, owner of The Red Carpet Bridal & Event Boutique, adding that her experience, relationships with vendors in the Atlanta metro area and abroad, and her negotiating skills can help save money. “Having one person arrange everything that fits into a budget is definitely attractive these days. That’s my focus, getting a good price and getting the most for their money.”
She has over 8 years experience in planning weddings and other events, including corporate and church events, showers, birthday and anniversary parties. Whether the event is large or small, Shenea always focuses on staying on budget. That’s especially important for brides to remember.
“Brides can fulfill all their dreams and still stay within budget,” she states. “You have to live after you’re married, pay rent, eat, and such, so set a budget and don’t go over it.”
