What has been your greatest accomplishment so far? (work related) The Resurgent Group of Metro Atlanta, LLC went full-time in 2008. As an entrepreneur, my greatest accomplishment to date has been witnessing the continued growth, diversity of services, and collaborative partnerships that my business has experienced.
Best book you’ve ever read, other than the Bible: The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About It
Favorite quote: I love quotes and affirmations and my most recent favorite is one of my own from my quotes and positive affirmation line, Chapter 41. “Motivation + Perseverance = I will see ya at the top or from the top. I deserve all that is good!”
What is your hope for 2011 (2012)? To continue to expand my business to other states and internationally.
Do you do any charity work and if so, how do you contribute other than money? I contribute my time, my talents. My current personal interest is to bring parity of services to people who are deaf and have mental illness in the state of Georgia. Only through Class Action Lawsuits, there are approximately 5 states that have specialized services for those who are deaf and mentally ill. Georgia is not one of them.

Best advice you’ve ever been given? Never do anything that will bring disgrace to your name and keep your word!
The one thing everyone must know about doing business in Atlanta? Preserve your name by providing ethical, quality services; and all business is not good business. It’s ok to say NO to business!
What inspires you? I have the ability to use my talents and skills to make a positive impact in the lives of women and girls around the country, and one day, the world.
Books you’ve written: I haven’t published them yet, but I have a series of poems that I have copyrighted through the Library of Congress and I am currently developing Chapter 41, my line of quotes and affirmations with my own photography from trips around the world. There may be a book or two in my future.
What do you do to relax and unwind? Spa days, turn the phone off, LONG walks in the park, LONG days on the beach.
