People You Need to Know, Inc. to Publish Hispanic Magazine

USA – Atlanta, Georgia (May 21, 2010) – People You Need to Know, Inc., publisher of metro Atlanta’s premiere businesswomen’s spotlight magazine, has partnered with Hispanic Marketing Group to publish “People You Need to Know Latina!”

People You Need to Know, Inc. was established in 1993 to provide affordable advertising to small business owners. Since that time, it has grown from a digest-size book to a full-color magazine-size publication, which focuses on promoting women in business. Distribution is widespread and copies can be found at Kroger, Publix, Whole Foods and professional waiting rooms all over metro Atlanta.

Publisher, Anthony “Spark Plug” Thomas says, “It has been a pleasure working on other projects in the past with Margarita Ayes – President/CEO, and Ray Ortega – CFO, at Hispanic Marketing Group. This partnership will allow us to create a publication, which will embrace the rich diversity of metro Atlanta.”

Hispanic Marketing Group founded the Stone Mountain Latina Fair, Hispanic Leadership Awards, Mis Fiestas Patrias, and the Festival Peachtree Latino. These events attract more than 160,000 attendees. This multicultural magazine will help corporations and small business advertisers promote diversity as well as recruit Hispanic personnel for their companies, thereby strengthening their customer base now and for the future. This magazine will also be a special commemorative edition to celebrate the 10th year of the Festival Peachtree Latino multicultural event held yearly in the heart of downtown Atlanta (Underground Atlanta).

The publication will be bilingual and 20,000 copies will be distributed on the day of the festival. The Festival Peachtree Latino event, to be held on August 29th, is FREE for the entire family.
