“It is indeed an honor to be a part of such an incredible fundraising collaboration of talented female vocalists,” states Maryline Blackburn, the former Miss Alaska who beat Sarah Palin in the 1984 Miss Alaska Scholarship Pageant.

This event promises to be a night filled with Life, Love and Laughter. Porsche Foxx, founder of the Porsche Foxx Community Force, enthuses, “It’s exciting to see this group of talented ladies focus on the community and provide an explosive night of entertainment!”

Joe Gaeta, President of the Joan Gaeta Lung Cancer Fund, says, “The Joan Gaeta Lung Cancer Fund is very grateful that the ‘Barefoot Diva’ Gwen Hughes chose our organization to support. We are excited to be a part of DIVAS WITH A CAUSE and are confident that it will bring awareness not just to our lung cancer fund, but to all the worthwhile causes represented.”

In 2010 The Roxy Theater, an Atlanta landmark, was renamed The Buckhead Theatre and renovated to reclaim the magic and dazzle of its jazz-era beginnings. Central to Buckhead nightlife for more than 80 years, The Buckhead Theatre is steeped in the lively spirit of its history, yet fully modernized to accommodate today’s multifaceted forms of entertainment and special events. The restorative vision for this magical Atlanta landmark is credited to R. Charles Loudermilk. The Buckhead Theatre is located at 3110 Roswell Road (near the intersection of Roswell Road & Peachtree Road).
