Name of your business … Title … What/who inspired you to get in the business … How did they inspire you?
Credit Union of Atlanta…Interim President/CEO… I have been in the financial services industry since I was in high school. I was inspired to advance within the industry when I won the Orator of the Year by the National Association of Urban Bankers, now Urban Financial Services Coalition. My mentors, who are Presidents of Credit Unions nationally, inspired me to further advance within the credit union movement.
What do you love about Atlanta?
I love Atlanta’s history and accessibility to connect with diverse professionals who are making things happen within Atlanta and nationally.
What has been your greatest accomplishment so far? (work related)
Helping Credit Union of Atlanta members meet their financial goals as well as developing CUA’s employees to be significant Movers and Shakers in the industry and in their community.

Do you do any charity work and if so, how do you contribute other than money?
I was the Board Chair of a high school pregnant and parenting teens program called DAPI (Delaware Adolescent Program, Inc.), where my mother attended when she was pregnant with me.
Hobbies
I love gadgets. Cell Phone, Computers, etc. Anything dealing with technology captures my attention. Can’t wait for the new iPhone for Verizon.

Graduated from Strayer University, Washington DC 1999-2001. Attended CUES (Credit Union Executive Society) CEO Institute at Wharton Business School, PA 2007; Cornel University, NY 2008; and Darden University, VA 2009.

None, but I am a military brat.
Credit Union of Atlanta (CUA) originated in 1928 to serve the employees of the City of Atlanta.
