Atlanta, GA – AT&T and the newspaper, Mundo Hispanico proudly present the 10th anniversary of Festival Peachtree Latino. The Festival will take place at the Underground Atlanta on August 29th, 2010. The event begins at 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
According to Margarita Ayes, CEO of Hispanic Marketing Group and producers of the event, the 10th anniversary of the Festival will be celebrated through music, the universal language. This year there will be performances by some of the biggest names in Latin Music. The lineup for Festival Peachtree Latino includes: Aleks Syntek, Belinda, “El Gringo de la Bachata”, Luz Ríos, Pee Wee and Amelia Vega (Miss Universe 2003).
The Festival will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a parade that will start at Peachtree Street and Ralph Mcgill and will end at the Underground Atlanta. The event presents a unique opportunity for the Hispanic Community in the city to celebrate its heritage and for others to enjoy the colorful display of Latin America’s diverse cultures.
Festival Peachtree Latino will also offer performances by local artists, international food, company exhibitions, prizes and lots of giveaways. The attending public will be able to enjoy a full day of fun at the Underground Atlanta, the heart of the city.
