Antonia Lawrence Inspires with Music That Makes a Difference!

Just like rain makes a difference to the earth, Antonia wants to write, produce, and record music that makes a difference – music that brings truth, joy, and touches people’s lives. That’s the inspiration for the name of Antonia’s business, Fresh Rain Music.

Antonia’s parents are originally from the island of Jamaica. She was born in Manchester, England, and raised in Toronto, Canada. This international blend makes Antonia the versatile artist that she is. While attending Oral Roberts University, Antonia discovered her singing voice and was inspired by other talented people who shared their gifts with others.

“My desire is to encourage, inspire, and motivate others through music,” Antonia states. Her last project was a live CD/DVD called “Global Hallelujah” and she was nominated for best new artist by the Gospel Choice Awards in 2009.

“I have had the opportunity to lead worship, to work with amazing artists and musicians, and sing songs that have been a blessing to many people,” she says gratefully. Antonia is also blessed with the natural ability to hear chords and melodies in her mind. She can listen and isolate the harmony within a song, even though she doesn’t play an instrument.

Antonia volunteers her time working with charitable organizations such as the Children’s Miracle Network and Hosea Feed the Homeless. In fact, she plans to donate part of the proceeds of her next CD project to charitable causes. This project is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2011. Antonia is inspired by people who have beaten the odds, overcome obstacles, and have done great things to help others. She lives by her favorite quote “If you can dream it, then you can achieve it.”

Antonia is available to sing Contemporary Gospel, Praise and Worship, Inspirational, R&B and Jazz.
