The Cobb County Branch of the NAACP is hosting the 7th annual Juneteenth Celebration at the historic Marietta Square on Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 10am to 7pm.

The Juneteenth Celebration is a cultural festival that celebrates Juneteenth, the name given to the date June 19, 1865 commemorating the date that the last United States enslaved human beings were freed from bondage.

The celebration features music, entertainment, diverse foods, vendors, moonwalks, history, giveaways, voter registration and fun activities for the whole family.

Visit our People You Need to Know tent from 3pm to 6pm to receive your free photo sketch, compliments of Rebecca McClain, Atlanta’s top Business and Personal Coach. Her company is Life Treasures, LLC.
